Returns and refunds

30-day returns

If you are not happy with a purchase, you can return it within 30 days of delivery for a refund. To be accepted, the item must be unused, undamaged and in its original packaging.

How to return an item

1. Email us at info@steelandcane.com within 30 days of delivery with your order number and the item you want to return.
2. We will reply within 2 business days with the return address and instructions.
3. Pack the item securely in its original packaging and send it with a tracked shipping service. Please send us the tracking number.

Items sent back without contacting us first may not be accepted.

Return shipping

Return shipping is paid by the customer unless the item arrived damaged, defective or was not what you ordered. Because furniture is bulky, please ask us for the return address before you get a shipping quote.

Refunds

Once your return arrives and has been checked, we refund the full price of the item to your original payment method within 10 business days. Your bank may take a few more days to show the refund. Delivery was free, so there is no shipping charge to refund or deduct.

Damaged, defective or wrong items

If an item arrives damaged or defective, or is not the item you ordered, email us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the item and its packaging. We will send a replacement at no cost or refund you in full, whichever you prefer. You will not need to return the item unless we ask, and if we do, we pay for the return.

Cancellations

You can cancel an order at any time before it ships for a full refund. Email us with your order number. Once an order has shipped, the returns process above applies.

Exceptions

Items that have been used, assembled and damaged by the customer, or that are returned without their original packaging, may be refused or refunded only in part to cover the loss in value. We will always tell you before making any deduction.
