Pavilion Lounge Chair
The 1929 X-frame lounge chair: tufted black leather cushions on a sweeping steel frame.
Designed for a royal visit to an exhibition pavilion in 1929, the X-frame lounge chair became the most recognisable piece of modernist seating ever made. Two crossing curves of steel carry deep, tufted cushions.
Ours is a new-made reproduction with black leather cushions on a steel frame. It reads as serious furniture in a living room, an office or a lobby, and it costs a fraction of a licensed original.
A matching ottoman is available on request: email us before you order.
